By accessing TrancheList (tranchelist.com), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

About the Directory

TrancheList is a free, publicly accessible directory of structured finance tools and vendors, maintained by Sam Griek and Zac Ruiz. The directory is provided for informational purposes — inclusion of a vendor does not constitute an endorsement or recommendation.

Acceptable Use

You agree to use TrancheList in compliance with all applicable laws. You may not:

• Submit false, misleading, or spam content
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to admin or authenticated endpoints
• Abuse rate limits or circumvent access controls
• Scrape the site in a manner that degrades service for others
• Impersonate another person, company, or agent

Agent & API Access

TrancheList provides public read APIs and agent-friendly interfaces (REST API, llms.txt, OpenAPI spec, JSON-LD). These are free to use and require no authentication.

Write endpoints (submissions, inquiries, signals) may require an API key. API keys are issued at our discretion and may be revoked if usage violates these terms or our rate limits.

Automated access is welcome. We ask that agents identify themselves via the User-Agent or X-Agent-ID header and respect robots.txt.

Submissions & Content

When you submit a listing, signal, or other content to TrancheList, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content as part of the directory. All submissions are subject to human review before publishing.

We reserve the right to edit, reject, or remove any submission at our discretion.

Vendor Claims

Vendors may claim their listing through our email verification process. Claiming a listing grants the ability to manage vendor-specific details. We reserve the right to verify claims and revoke access if a claim is found to be fraudulent.

Intellectual Property

The TrancheList name, design, and original content are the property of its maintainers. Vendor names, logos, and descriptions belong to their respective owners and are displayed for informational purposes.

Disclaimer

TrancheList is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any listing information. Vendor details including agent capabilities, API availability, and asset class coverage are provided as-reported and may not reflect current status.

We are not responsible for any decisions made based on information in this directory.

Limitation of Liability

The maintainers of TrancheList shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or reliance on its content.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the site constitutes acceptance of any modifications.

Privacy

Your use of TrancheList is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these terms.
